Keurig K-Cup Recipes: 1 Dinner and 1 Dessert Dish You Can Make By Brewing Tea and Mocha Pods

Most of us have a favorite sweet indulgent: something super chocolatey, a savory pastry, or confection you crave constantly. We've poured, mixed, brewed, and baked these amazing recipes using coffee or tea (our favorites!) in fun and creative ways. These recipes are too good not to share!

The recipes are tested and approved by our own staff. Simple and straight-forward, you'll have to try these amazing treats that use coffee or tea for yourself.

Yellow Lemon Chicken Recipe with Lemon Zinger Tea

Lemon Yellow Rice

1 cup of rice – parboiled
½ tsp ground turmeric
2 sprigs of fresh thyme
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brewed Lemon Zinger Tea
½ tbs garlic powder
½ tbs onion powder
2 tsp of olive oil or vegetable oil
Sliced red, green and yellow bell peppers (optional)

In a pot add 1 cup of water and brewed tea. Bring to a boil.
Add salt, garlic powder, onion powder oil and rice and cover.
Simmer on medium low heat for 20 minutes, until water is absorbed and rice is cooked.
Remove from heat and remove the thyme stem.
Add bell peppers and stir or sprinkle them on top.
You can also add frozen mixed vegetables and stir while rice is still hot.


Double Coffee Chocolate Cupcakes Recipe

Double Coffee Chocolate Cupcakes

1 box of chocolate cake mix (requiring water)
1 Café Escapes Mocha K-Cup
1 Gloria Jeans Hazelnut K-Cup (or flavor of your choice)

Brew Gloria Jeans Hazelnut on 6oz and set aside to cool.
Follow instructions on back of the cake mix box but replace the water with 1 cup of brewed Gloria Jeans Hazelnut.
Open 1 Cafe Escapes K-Cups and pour the contents into the cake batter. Mix well. Bake at the suggested temperature and time as instructed.
Let cool and frost. Decorate with ground coffee or festive sprinkles.
