Art deco-inspired. The one truly takes us back. The tagline reads, "Coffee Approaches Perfection When Made In the Silex."

1960 Magazine Ad, "How to Run a Coffee House"

Cool daddio...

The ad reads, "Recipes, decor, entertainment... this book lists these and everything else necessary to start and maintain one of these profitable and popular establishments. Eleven sections in all, entertainingly written by the staff of the 'Upper Cellar,' San Diego's most successful coffee house."

Maxwell House, 1920s

"Such a little more to pay for such greater satisfaction." Maxwell House Coffee continues to be a popular brand in the coffee world. It's famous slogan, "Good to the last drop" is referenced in this ad dating back to 1920.

Free Coffee for All Truckers

This ad was uncovered in a trucking magazine from 1965 and encouraged truckers to "take your rest break with us" in Delaware. It reads, "Free coffee 'wake-up' service for tired drivers."
